System Overview:
1. The IGAA comes ready to use from the factory. It is pre-configured with standard 16 zones and up to 128 zones alarm inputs. Customed configuration is available upon request.
2. IGAA System is comprised of two basic components, the Graphic Annunciator Modules (GAM) and Zone Input Modules (ZIM). The GAM contains graphic LED display panel, micro-controller circuit, and RS-485 connection for remote ZIM interface. ZIM is remotely located for connecting to alarm sensors. Each ZIM can connect up to 8 alarm sensors with optional 8 alarm outputs. Each ZIM is connected to GAM through 2-wires RS-485 interface.
Typical Operation:
Sensor Input – The inputs are NC/NO contact switch such alarm magnetic contact, PIR, smoke detector., etc.
Zone LED – Each zone LED displays the status of each sensor input
1. LED Off – Indicates normal condition (i.e., door is close).
2. LED fast blinking – Indicates alarm condition that has not been acknowledged (i.e., door is open and the buzzer is on)
3. LED on steady – Indicates an acknowledged alarm and the fault has been removed (i.e., door has been opened and now is close and the buzzer is silent)
4. LED slow blinking – Indicates alarm condition that has not been acknowledged but the fault has been removed (i.e., door has been opened and now is close without alarm being acknowledged. The buzzer is on).
Acknowledge Switch – activates the Acknowledge Switch will:
1. Acknowledged any pending alarm condition and the buzzer is silenced.
2. If the fault has been removed, the zone LED will be on steady.
Reset Switch – activates of the Reset Switch will clear any zone LED that has been acknowledged and fault condition has been removed.
Buzzer Disable Switch – When the Reset Switch is in active position, the alarm buzzer is disable.
LED Test Switch – When the LED Test Switch is in active position, all LEDs will be on.
