iSTAR  eX

 iSTAR® eX   controller is  the  four- or eight-door Ethernet-ready   door controller utilizing the  on board  256-bit  Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) which exceeds even the stringent FIPS 197 requirement of 128-bits, making iSTAR eX the first access control panel on the market to offer such a high level of protection. Combined with the new government threat-level support and clearance filters in C•CURE 800/8000 v9.1, the iSTAR eX solution significantly raises the bar for critical security and firmly assure Software House as the solution of choice for government and enterprise applications.

iSTAR Edge

iSTAR Edge is an IP-based, two-reader controller, with optional Power over Ethernet (PoE) to take advantage of the growing popularity of PoE and PoE Plus network infrastructures. iSTAR Edge is a true, standalone door controller with its own processor and database that does not rely on the C•CURE® 9000 system for access control decision-making. This new hardware platform pushes the intelligence of our family of iSTAR controllers out to the edge, utilizing existing network infrastructure, and offering a compelling, advanced feature set at a competitive price. Available in one-, two- or four-reader models. iSTAR Edge also provides superior features including advanced iSTAR clustering, door monitoring, and anti-passback.
